I am making several Valentines Day cards for my family and friends. I thought handmade cards would be nice this year.

I’ve seen this idea around on blogs and pinterest. I think it’s clever, simple, and fun. I made a few myself:

I’ve pre-cut the strips. Someone can tear off a strip that describes what they feel they need and they can keep it in their pocket or wallet as inspiration for as long as they want. On the backs of each strip I put quotes that somewhat go with the words I chose.

If the sign is hung up inside the home, you can choose to flip over one word per day and read the quote on the back.

I love paper crafts! For my birthday I got a huge booklet of scrapbook paper. I used one of the pages to create this Happy New Year card.

I used my hole punch and some ribbon to add a little something unique and fun to the card.

I used stamps on the inside. It reads, “May your troubles be less and your blessing be more and nothing but happiness come through your door”
